Tabbio MCP overview

Connect a trusted AI client to Tabbio through the remote Model Context Protocol server, with scoped access, revocable tokens, and approvals for sensitive actions.

Tabbio MCP lets a compatible AI client use the same Tabbio tools as the built-in assistant. MCP means Model Context Protocol, a standard for letting an AI client discover and call approved tools.

What can a connected client use?#

Available tools can cover your profile, CVs, jobs, applications, companies, candidates, skills, connections, automations, messages, saved assets, and memory. The exact list depends on your account, plan, active workspace, and access scope.

How does the client sign in?#

Use the supported OAuth flow or create a personal MCP token in Tabbio. The token appears once and can cover personal data, selected company workspaces, or both. Revoke it from Settings when you no longer trust the client or device.

What happens before a sensitive action?#

A read scope allows retrieval tools. A write scope allows a client to request a change, but it does not skip tool approvals. An action that needs confirmation creates a pending request for you to approve or reject in Tabbio.

Continue with connecting an MCP client and tokens, scopes, and workspaces.

Frequently asked questions#

Is MCP the same as sharing my password?#

No. The client uses OAuth or a separate revocable token. Never give it your Tabbio password or paste a token into the conversation.

Can an MCP client edit my CV?#

Only if the token has the required write scope and the tool is available. Full CV changes and other sensitive actions still follow the applicable confirmation rules.

Can one token reach a company workspace?#

Only when you included that company in the token scope. A token that covers several companies can require an explicit companyId for a company action.

Where do I find the server address?#

Open MCP access in Tabbio Settings and use the address shown for the current environment. Do not rely on an old address copied from another environment.
