What a WebCV is

A WebCV is your CV on a Tabbio web page. Learn how it differs from a file, what information it uses, and how public and private sharing work.

A WebCV is your CV presented on a Tabbio web page when sharing is enabled. You update the underlying CV in Tabbio, then people with the right access see the current published version instead of an old attachment.

How is a WebCV different from a PDF?#

A PDF is a fixed file. A WebCV can reflect an approved CV update without making you send another attachment. A PDF is still useful when an employer requires a file or you need a fixed layout.

What information does it use?#

The page uses the CV and public presentation choices you select. Check your summary, experience, education, skills, links, photo choice, contact visibility, language, and section order before sharing.

Who can see it?#

Your visibility and sharing settings decide who can open the page. Use public sharing only for information you want to publish. Use a private link or access grant for a specific reviewer.

Frequently asked questions#

Does updating my profile change every CV?#

Shared facts can flow from your profile, while a tailored CV can keep role-specific wording and section choices. Preview the exact CV before you publish or export it.

Can I still download a file?#

Yes. You can export supported formats when the platform and your plan allow them. Open the final file before sending it because PDF and editable documents can lay out text differently.

Can search engines find a WebCV?#

Only a public, indexable page can be considered for search. Search engines decide when and whether to index it, and private pages should remain out of public discovery.

Does a public WebCV show my contact details?#

Contact visibility is controlled separately from the page itself. Review the current share settings before you publish or create a private link.
